Cowdenbeath assistant Lee Makel revealed winning the title with the Blue Brazil would be one of his greatest football achievements.
Victory over Forfar at Central Park today would seal the Second Division title for Cowden in their first season under boss Colin Cameron and former Blackburn midfielder Makel. The former Hearts duo are on the brink of bringing immediate success to the club and Makel rates the achievement highly. "Playing in the Champions League at Blackburn, lifting the Scottish Cup with Hearts and winning the League Cup with Livingston were all great personal moments," said the well-travelled 39-year-old. "But this is a new chapter in my career as a coach and the first success is always the most important one." Cowdenbeath are seven points clear of second-placed Arbroath with three games remaining.
