Albion boss Paul Martin has praised player/coach Danny Ferry after the midfielder's stunning strike against Dumbarton on Saturday.
Rovers went into the game against the promotion chasing Sons as the underdogs but took the lead through Ferry's 'world class' strike before Scott Agnew hit back to give the sides' a respectable 1-1 draw. The midfielder has been left out of the team for much of the season but with the club battling relegation, boss Martin recently brought him back into the starting line-up due to his leadership qualities and has praised him for his contribution. "I brought Danny back into the team a few games ago as he typifies the strength and determination that we need to get out of things at the bottom of the table," Martin said. "Our results have improved since he can back in."
