McDonald wants 'keeper competition

Stirling Albion boss Greig McDonald says his priority for the summer is to sign a new goalkeeper following Callum Reidford's departure.
Former Rangers' stopper Reidford left the club after the Binos' relegation to the Third Division was confirmed earlier this month. This means Sam Filler is now the only 'keeper left at the Doubletree Dunblane Stadium and McDonald says he is desperate to bring in another potential number one in order to generate competition between the sticks. "I have offered a new deal to Sam and he knows that he has the chance of being our first choice if he stays and performs better than however we get in," McDonald said. "I would like to bring a new goalkeeper in and have the two of them competing for the No 1 jersey."
