Albion Rovers have announced the signings of Kevin Green and Steven Howarth as they continue to build for the upcoming season.
Full-back Green previously played for local rivals Airdrie but after failing to win a contract extension at New Broomfield had been looking for a club for almost a month before agreeing a deal at Cliftonhill.
Howard was recently released by SPL side Motherwell and boss Todd Lumsden is expecting big things from the striker, after coming highly-recommended by another new recruit, Connor Stevenson.
"Connor and Steven were together at Clyde and both of them actually spent six weeks training at Rangers together before leaving there," he said. "When Steven was released by Motherwell, Connor asked if he could come in here and I am glad he did."
"He has looked strong and sharp and he may just be what we are looking for in terms of grabbing goals."
