Soutar joins Forfar

Forfar boss Dick Campbell has signed ex-Aberdeen goalkeeper Derek Soutar following his release from Highland League side Formartine.

The 31-year-old began his career at Dundee in 1998 but struggled to make the number one jersey his own and spent time on loan with Brechin and Alloa.
Soutar left Dens Park for Pittodrie in 2006, where he remained for two seasons before joining Ross County. The shot-stopper enjoyed a brief period in Cyprus following a second spell at Dundee.
The former Scotland under-21 international joined Formartine in January 2011. He negotiated an early release from his contract to sign for Forfar on a two-year deal.
