Aitken wants morale boost

Chris Aitken wants Stranraer to pick up a "morale-boosting result" against Berwick, prior to their play-off tie against Queen's Park.

The Blues go into today's fixture in the midst of a poor run and Aitken wants the side to put the blip in form behind them.
He told the Daily Record: "It's vital we get back to winning ways this weekend as we haven't won in our last four games and that's something which we want to change at Berwick.
"It would give us all a lift if we can get a morale-boosting result to take into the Queen's game.
"But if we can take three points against a decent Berwick side then it would be the perfect preparation going into the play-offs."
The Stair Park outfit will play the Spiders in the play-off semi-final first-leg on Thursday.
