Alloa sign Meggatt

Alloa manager Paul Hartley has completed the signing of Queen's Park full-back Darryl Meggatt as he builds his side for next season.

It is the second time in a few days that Hartley has signed a rising star from the Third Division after Annan striker David Cox did likewise in joining the Wasps.
Meggat joined the Spiders two years ago from amateur side South Camlachie and Hartley was impressed with the 21-year-old's displays against his Championship-winning men this season.
The Recreation Park boss said: "I am delighted to bring Darryl to Alloa and we will give him a platform to continuing his progress in the game. Like David Cox he always impressed against us and I am sure that he will add strength to the left-hand side of our defence."
