Blue Toon face Stranraer in opener

Peterhead will begin their bid for promotion from the Scottish Third Division with an opening day fixture against Stranraer.

The Peterhead side host the Blues at Balmoor on August 11 as they seek to bounce back from their relegation last season.
Jim McInally has already began rebuilding work ahead the upcoming campaign having added Steven Noble, Darren Kelly Scott McLaughlin to his squad along with Ross Smith, on loan from Dundee United, who impressed the Toon boss on a loan spell last season.
The other Division Three opening-day fixtures see Berwick Rangers play Elgin City at home, East Stirling host Queen's Park, Clyde travel to Montrose and Stirling Albion face Annan Athletic.
