Clyde manager Jim Duffy has tipped Peterhead to gain promotion from the Scottish Third Division next season.
The Blue Toon were expected to challenge at the top of the league this season after being relegated from the third tier of Scottish football last year, however the club are currently seventh in the table with two games remaining. But Duffy believes the Balmoor outfit will be promotion contenders in the next campaign after watching the two teams play out a 1-1 stalemate over the weekend. He said: "To be honest Peterhead's play-off hopes probably went a few weeks ago but they have been on a terrific run in the past few months. "Jim McInally has done a great job since he came in and in my opinion they are favourites for the Third Division next season."
