Goalkeeper Sam Filler has signed a new contract at Stirling Albion, despite their recent relegation.
The 21-year-old made 14 appearances during Stirling's disappointing Second Division campaign this season but will stay on at the club to help them try and gain promotion at the first attempt. Filler, who joined Middlesbrough from Bradford for £85,000 earlier in his career, was signed by Stirling through last summer's 'So You Think You're Good Enough' trial scheme. Stirling were relegated to the fourth-tier after finishing bottom in the Second Division, the second drop in as many years for Greig McDonald's side.
