Key duo re-sign with Berwick

Berwick have received a boost with the news that midfield pair Lee Currie and Kevin McDonald have agreed new one-year-deals.

The duo have impressed this season, linking-up well as Ian Little's men eventually finished seventh in the Scottish Third Division table. Striker Stuart Noble is also expected to extend his stay in the next few days, meaning the club will have re-signed nine players since the end of the campaign. However, boss Little is adamant that there is still plenty of work to do before next season and says he will look to continue improving his squad over the summer. "I am pleased with where we are squad wise but work carries on," he said.
