McInally wary of Rangers threat
Scottish Division 3,

Peterhead boss Jim McInally hopes Rangers are not demoted to the Third Division as clubs would have no chance of automatic promotion.
The Gers could be put back in the SFL as a new company after being liquidated this week but, while some chairmen are relishing the prospect of Rangers coming to their clubs, McInally is only thinking about the prospect of promotion. "I hope the SPL clubs don't boot Rangers out. Scottish football cannot be without them but in this situation there are no winners," he told the Daily Record. "Some chairmen in our division may think it's good if they're in with us, but they're only going to get two gates out of it. What is the point of being in a league you cannot win? "If Rangers join the SFL it would be more sensible for them to be in Division One rather than the Third." The Ibrox club will find out if they are to be demoted from the SPL in a vote among top-flight clubs, scheduled for the coming weeks.
