Steel hoping for Elgin win

Annan Athletic midfielder Jack Steele is hoping the 520-mile round trip to today's game against Elgin results in victory for his side.

Annan go into the game knowing that they must win to keep alive their play-off hopes in the race to gain promotion from the Third Division, with Steele himself conceding that the match is a 'must win'.
"We have got back into things and the Elgin game is a massive one but we can win it. I am a bit surprised that we are still in the promotion hunt as anyone can beat anyone in this division," he said.
"However, we showed at the start of the season that we can win consistently and if we succeed in our last four games, we will be incredibly close to a play-off place."
