Winter and Lunan renew Montrose deals

Montrose have announced that midfielders Jamie Winter and Paul Lunan have renewed their contracts at the club for another year.

Despite the Gable Endies have a relatively disappointing season, the pair have impressed throughout the campaign and it had been reported that a number of higher division clubs were looking to sign them. However, they've decided to extend their stay at Links Park and are looking forward to helping the side improve next season. Lunan said: "I'm happy about it [signing a new contract], I just hope we have a better year next year." Winter added: "I'm chuffed that it's all sorted. We've been speaking about it for a while but with the games coming thick and fast it was just finding the time to sit down and sort it out.
