Alloa Athletic captain Darren Young has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
Alloa won the Scottish Third Division title this season and Young will be part of Paul Hartley's squad competing in the Second Division after extending his stay at Recreation Park.
The 33-year-old midfielder signed for the Wasps last summer and played a vital part in their title-winning campaign, scoring twice in 34 appearances.
After winning the Third Division, Young said: "It's a great bunch of boys here and the manager has built the team from scratch so to go where we've gone is great. We started off a bit slow but got stronger and stronger and got our rewards at the end of it."
Young, a former Aberdeen and Dunfermline Athletic player, also won the Alloa 1878 Supporters Club "Player of the Year" award following his impressive first season in Clackmannanshire.
