Youngster agrees Annan terms

Annan Athletic have confirmed that youngster John Watson has agreed his first professional contract with the club.

Watson, who can play in either midfielder or at right-back, was brought into the first-team set-up at Galabank last season and made his debut against East Stirlingshire in May. He has now agreed to a permanent deal to stay with the club for at least another season and the news comes as an extra boost to coach Harry Cairney who also recently brought in former St Mirren winger Ally Love last week. Cairney has been extremely busy in the transfer market so far this summer, bringing in six new faces as he looks to build a squad capable of achieving promotion in the upcoming campaign.
