Brechin City chairman Ken Ferguson has called for fans to put their faith in new manager Ray McKinnon.
Former Lochee United boss McKinnon was installed as manager at Glebe Park last week following the sacking of Jim Weir.
Brechin's goal for the season is to avoid the drop and Ferguson has urged fans to get behind McKinnon.
"The club is entering a new chapter and I'd ask our fans to give Ray and his assistant, our former player Grant Johnson, a warm Brechin welcome," Ferguson said.
"There's a lot of hard work to be done to try and recover our league position in a strong Second Division this season.
"It would be great if every City supporter, including the occasional ones, get along to Glebe Park from now right through the season. We have three home games coming up and we need a united front to rise to the challenges ahead."
