Michael Moore has praised Stranraer's spirit after they bounced back from last week's humiliation with a point at home to Arbroath.
The Blues opened their Division Two campaign with a 1-1 stalemate after two disappointing cup defeats, including an 8-0 thumping by Livingston on home soil.
Moore headed home from Chris Aitken's corner midway through the first half to give Stranraer the lead at Stair Park.
Darren Gribben pounced on Michael Dunlop's error at the start of the second half to hand Arbroath a share of the spoils, but Moore was not too disappointed with the result in the circumstances.
"It was the longest week of my life. We had to show a lot of character to get through it," said the striker.
