Sheerin wants to maintain good start

Arbroath player-boss Paul Sheerin is hoping his side can maintain their decent start to the season in the coming weeks.

The Red Lichties have advanced through two Cup competitions and drew their opening League fixture on Saturday and Sheerin, who guided his team to the play-off semi-finals last season, is hoping they can maintain their form. He said: "We've had a couple of decent cup results which gives us confidence, It's nearly a whole new squad and it may take time but hopefully we will get off to a good start and be at the right end of the table come the crunch."
