Black hoping to win over fans

Ian Black is confident he can win over the Ibrox faithful despite his infamous challenge on former Rangers' star Nikica Jelavic.

Black previously sidelined the striker for several months, following a reckless challenge while playing for Hearts in October 2010.
This led to some obvious disquiet amongst the Gers faithful after he signed for the club last week but the tenacious midfielder is adamant he has what it takes get the fans on his side.
"I think I was a villain for every SPL team but that's part and parcel of the job," he said. "I'm sure I'll win the fans over. I'm here to do a job for them.
"Some of them might have a bit of a grudge but I'll just go out there and work and hopefully do the business for them."
