Coughlin chasing Herd

East Stirling boss John Coughlin has invited Whitehill Welfare's Michael Herd to join his squad after scoring three against his side.

The player netted the hat-trick in a friendly in midweek, and Coughlin explained: "Michael has been in doing some training with us and we gave him a run out against Tynecastle in midweek. He scored three times so he went from a possible on the tour to a definite.
"We face Rothes and then Buckie Thistle and I am looking forward to seeing how Michael gets on against stronger defences. Hopefully he does well and we can take things from there."
