Stirling Albion summer signing Bradley Coyne faces up to six weeks on the sidelines with a knee injury.
The 19-year-old striker suffered knee ligament damage in the 5-1 win over Annan Athletic on the opening weekend of the season.
Stirling boss Greig McDonald feels for the young forward but will not take any risks during his rehabilitation.
"It is a real shame for Bradley as he was settling very well into the club and was keen to grab his first goal. Hopefully it will not be as long as first feared but we will not rush him back," he said.
The Binos have won one and lost one at the start of the Division Three season.
