Goian happy at Rangers
Scottish Division 3,
Rangers defender Dorin Goian insists he is happy at the club, despite interest from Serie B side Spezia.
The 31-year-old still believes Rangers are an illustrious club, despite playing in the Scottish Third Division, and is paying no attention to the interest from Italy. "I cannot leave Rangers for Spezia. Even though we're in the bottom tier I am still playing for a world-famous team," he said. Romania defender Goian, who joined Rangers from Serie A side Palermo last summer, also admits he has been surprised by their Division Three opponents so far. "Before we started in this league I thought we'd be playing against fat amateurs," he said. "But I've encountered many good, young players. Even if they don't quite have the qualities to make it they're hard working."
