Ally McCoist has expressed his dismay at not being to land all of his targets now that Rangers are unable to sign any new players.
The Gers boss brought in a number of top stars over the summer but, following the club's previous liquidation, they're now under a year long transfer embargo meaning his squad is set to be stretched to its limits.
McCoist admits his side now face a difficult few months and has warned his players that they cannot take anything for granted.
"I'm not happy. I said last week that I wanted to get four or five bodies in and we got one or two in and one went out," he said. "I know we are thin on the ground in defensive areas. We will have to carry a bit of luck in terms of injuries and suspensions."
