Rangers youngster Barrie McKay believes the Glasgow giants could struggle if they fail to adapt to life in the lower leagues.
The Gers dropped two points on the opening day of the SFL campaign with a surprise 2-2 draw at Peterhead. McKay - who scored the first goal of a new era for the club against the Blue Toon - says Balmoor was a tough place to go despite the gulf in class between the two sides. However, he knows Rangers will need to get used to those types of games if they are to emerge from the season with the Third Division title. "It was a really hard place to go and play but at least we got a point. These grounds are a lot smaller than Ibrox so we'll have to adapt to play at places such as Peterhead," said the 17-year-old. "We just have to take each experience as it comes. Hopefully we'll find our feet and still end up winning the league."
