Mixed news for Peterhead
Scottish Division 3,
Ryan Strachan and Graeme Sharp have committed their futures to Peterhead but youngster Paul Young has refused the offer of a new deal.
Former Aberdeen and Celtic defensive midfielder Strachan, 21, has been at the club since 2009, while next season will be Sharp's eighth in a Blue Toon jersey.
"I am absolutely delighted to announce that both players have made the decision to stay with Peterhead. It is great news for the club," said manager Jim McInally.
Hoever, the good news was countered by Young stating he wishes to leave the club. McInally expressed his disappointment at his decision to turn down a fresh contract.
"Paul has decided to head for pastures new which is disappointing from my point of view as I was looking forward to working with him," he added.
