Clarke joins Iron on loan

Scunthorpe have signed Leon Clarke on a three-month loan deal from Championship side Charlton.

The 27-year-old will stay at Glanford Park until early December and goes straight into the squad to face Sheffield United on Saturday, though the Addicks have a 28-day recall clause.
Clarke becomes the second signing of the day for Alan Knill, who earlier brought in Karl Hawley on a free transfer.
