Scunthorpe midfielder Michael Collins could make his first start in 13 months against MK Dons.
Collins, who made only three appearances last season, had been sidelined since the summer of 2011 with an Achilles injury but has stepped off the substitutes' bench in the last two matches and is hoping to play a bigger role. Winger Andy Barcham remains doubtful with the ankle injury which kept him out of the midweek home defeat to Preston but skipper Paul Reid, who made only his second start of the season on Tuesday after hand, groin and calf injuries, will be back in contention despite being forced off in midweek with an eye problem. Leading goalscorer Leon Clarke and Mark Duffy missed training this week due to minor knocks but are expected to be fit while midfielder Damien Mozika (ankle) is not yet ready, although he is closing in on his return following a long-term lay-off. The Iron have taken only two points from their last six league matches.
