Defender boost for Adkins

Scunthorpe have been boosted by the news defender Rob Jones has been passed fit to face QPR.

Jones was forced to leave the field with 20 minutes left on the clock against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek but boss Nigel Adkins has revealed the injury is nothing serious and he will be fit to play.
New loan signing Brendan Moloney, who has arrived from Nottingham Forest, will have to settle for a place on the bench, while midfielder Michael O'Connor will also be back on the bench after returning from suspension.
Defender Andrew Wright is also back in contention after recovering from an ankle injury.
