Defender eyes return

Scunthorpe defender Rob Jones is pushing for a recall this weekend after returning for the reserves on Tuesday.

Jones has been on the sidelines since breaking his nose in the 2-1 victory over Barnsley a month ago but came through unscathed as the second string crashed to a 5-0 defeat against the Foxes.
It was crushing defeat for the reserves but boss Nigel Adkins will have been delighted to see Jones come through while Andrew Wright, Grant McCann, Josh Wright and Jonathan Forte also featured.
