Defender heads to Palace

Scunthorpe United, 11:20, September 11, 2009 ,

Rob Jones could return for Scunthorpe at Crystal Palace tomorrow after missing his side's last two games with concussion.

The defender suffered the head injury at Hillsborough in the 4-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
Niall Canavan is also in contention after shaking off an ankle problem and came through the whole of a reserve game against Middlesbrough on Tuesday.
The only players still in the treatment room are defenders Andrew Wright and Kenny Milne, who has spent the last 13 months on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Iron boss Nigel Adkins said: "Everyone is good, except for Kenny Milne, who is the only one of the senior players unavailable for selection.
Kenny just wasn't fit for the reserve game against Middlesbrough the other night. He played at York the week before, and maybe has done a little bit too much this week."
