Scunthorpe boss Alan Knill was pleased to see his side bounce back from a slow start to claim a 1-1 draw at home to Bournemouth.

The visitors took the lead after 42 minutes with a fine solo goal from former Scunthorpe loanee Donal McDermott, but substitute Garry Thompson struck in the 79th minute to earn the Iron their 22nd draw of the season and deny the Cherries a first away win of 2012.
Knill said: "It was important for us not to get beaten in our last home game of the season - and for a time it looked like we would.
"The first half looked a very end-of-season affair but I thought we did much better in the second half and in the end could have won it.
"We have done well since Christmas with just four defeats since then. But next season we have got to start turning some of those 22 draws into wins. I want us to be a footballing side and I want to educate the players into that way of playing.
"It is my job here to develop them and by playing this way is the best way of doing that. To do that you have to be brave on the ball and I think we were in the second half. Our goal may have looked a simple one but you have to be brave to get players into those positions to create the goal."
