Scunthorpe manager Alan Knill could not hide his relief after his side secured League One safety despite a 1-0 defeat at Huddersfield.

Lee Novak rescued Huddersfield with a late goal, their first in 359 minutes of football, while Scunthorpe hit the woodwork three times, twice through Bobby Grant and also Jimmy Ryan.
Knill saw his side safe for another season and said: "Thank God! I was pleased with our performance and thought we were worthy of all three points.
"Everything we asked the players to do they did. We knew we needed to keep possession and pass the ball and we did everything but put the ball in the back of the net.
"We knew Huddersfield were a good side and the longer we kept the ball the less chances they would have, and it worked."
Knill said his side's 10-match unbeaten run, which ended with a 3-0 defeat to MK Dons last week, had brought survival, adding: "That did it for us. It came at just the right time and the players should take some credit for that. I always felt that in the second half of the season we were capable of being higher up the league."
