Scunthorpe secure city winger

Scunthorpe have signed Manchester City youngster Donal McDermott on loan until the end of the season.
McDermott was previously on-loan at Chesterfield, making 15 appearances and scoring five goals, and played against the Irons in Scunthorpe's 2-1 victory in the Carling Cup.
The Irishman goes straight into Nigel Adkins' squad for the home game against Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday night and Adkins is pleased he has been able to add another option to his squad.
"Donal is a player who has been attracting the interest of a lot of clubs. He can operate on either flank and offers us something different to what we have already got."
