Striker deal done
Scunthorpe United, 17:55, July 10, 2009 ,
Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins has moved into the transfer market again to sign striker Adam Boyes from York City for an undisclosed fee.
Adkins broke the club's transfer record yesterday when landing Hibs skipper Rob Jones for £350,000 and he has backed it up by bringing in Boyes on a three-year contract.
The 18-year-old is a player Adkins has been chasing for sometime and also joins Michael O'Connor and Josh Wright at Glanford Park.
