Top scorer misses cup action

Iron top-scorer Gary Hooper will sit out Scunthorpe's Carling Cup tie with Port Vale after suffering a hamstring injury last weekend.
Jonathan Forte is expected to start in place of Hooper as the Iron take on giant killing Port Vale, who have knocked both Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United out of the competition already.
Boss Nigel Adkins will have to make do without Ben May (ankle) and Garry Thompson (foot) who are both set to miss the clash at Glandford Park tonight.
