Scunthorpe are without the suspended Josh Walker for their Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Notts County.
Walker serves a one-match ban after being dismissed for a handball on the line during the 2-0 defeat at against Hartlepool at the weekend. Robbie Gibbons is likely to come into the midfield after being dropped ahead of the Saturday's game in Walker's place. Jimmy Ryan is expected to recover from the knock that forced him from the pitch at Hartlepool and take his place in the midfield. Loanee David Prutton will continue in the midfield after he impressed manager Alan Knill in his full debut at the weekend. Paul Reid (hand), Callum Kennedy (toe), Damien Mozika (ankle) and Michael Collins (tendonitis) remain sidelined through injury.
