Alvarez hails 'living legend' Zanetti
Inter Milan midfielder Ricardo Alvarez has described club captain Javier Zanetti as a 'living legend'.
The 24-year-old moved to the San Siro in the summer from Velez Sarsfield and has impressed in his 21 appearances for the Nerazzurri. He credits some of his impact on the welcome he received from Zanetti and says he has been thoroughly impressed by his skipper's attitude, both on and off the field. "The captain is unlike anything I've ever seen. No one can touch him, he's making history, a living legend," Alvarez said. "He's a magnificent professional but he also knows how to make his friends smile and he always puts you in a good mood, even though he's a world-class player of the sort you rarely see nowadays."
