Borini happy at Roma
Fabio Borini says he wants to stay at Roma as he believes the club have every chance of success in the coming years.
The Giallorossi had a disappointing 2011/12 campaign - finishing seventh in the Serie A table - leading to boss Luis Enrique resigning as manager of the club. Enrique was brought to the Stadio Olimpico with the aim of overseeing a 'project' that would see the team return to the Champions League. However, he was unsuccessful but despite this, Borini says he is happy at the club and will not be leaving in the summer. "I want to stay at Roma," the striker told reporters on Monday. "I believe in the project and I don't judge this season as all bad, even if it did not finish as my team-mates and I would have hoped."
