Camporese has Viola future

Michele Camporese's agent insists the young defender still has a future at Fiorentina despite his lack of playing time this season.

The 19-year-old has made only two Serie A appearances for the Viola this term and has struggled to convince coach Delio Rossi that he is worthy of his place in the side. The Italy Under-21 star is a product of Fiorentina's youth academy and is highly-regarded at the club despite his lack of pitch time. Rumours of a possible exit have been circulating due to his inactivity but agent Davide Lippi feels the club have high hopes for the centre back after extending his contract last summer. "The club are counting on him," he told Radio Rosa. "The fact that he extended his contract in the autumn demonstrates great belief in him."
