Cannavaro eyes title tilt
Paolo Cannavaro believes Napoli are still capable of challenging for the Serie A title despite the recent departures from the club.
Once again boss Walter Mazzarri has had to deal with the sales of a number of his best players, most notably Ezequiel Lavezzi and Walter Gargano, who have joined Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan respectively. This has led to doubts that the Naples club will be able to challenge this season but Cannavaro is adamant that his side are strong enough to play a major role in the title race. "There are several competitive teams," he said. "This league is very balanced. I have never played in a more solid group than this, and I assure the fans that we won't give up until the last second. "Whoever wears this shirt knows that they must give their best," he added.
