Antonio Cassano has been passed fit by Italy and will be available for the Azzurri when they take on Spain in the Euro 2012 final.
The AC Milan playmaker suffered a knee problem in the 2-1 over Germany in the semi-finals which had threatened his place for Sunday's showpiece, at least for a starting berth. However, Italy team doctor Enrico Castellacci has revealed that there are no problems with the forward and given him the green light to start. "There was a slight twist in the knee for Cassano. However, from a clinical viewpoint there is no need to worry, there is no ligament damage," Castellaccci said. "In the final against Spain we will see him."
