Castaignos set for Inter exit
Netherlands Under-21 international Luc Castaignos has revealed he will leave Inter Milan this summer for a 'big club' outside of Italy.
Castaignos only joined Inter from Feyenoord last summer but struggled to make an impact in Serie A. The striker has recently been linked with Premier League clubs Liverpool and West Ham, and accepts his time in Italy is up.
"Inter want to loan me to an Italian club or sell me. I told them that I don't want to play anywhere else in Italy but at Inter," Castaignos told Sky Italia.
"I am saddened, I cannot deny it, I am disappointed not to have shown my worth, but this is football. It's a decision taken by the club and by me. Now I want to join a big club."
Feyenoord have expressed an interest in taking the 19-year-old on loan, but Castaignos admits a return to De Kuip is unlikely.
