Luc Castaignos has aimed a parting shot at former club Inter after completing his switch to Dutch side FC Twente.
The youngster had been linked with a return to his homeland all summer and now the deal has been completed after he failed to make the grade at the San Siro. The 19-year-old failed to settle in Italian football and made just a few appearances for Inter during his time at the club and he has now revealed that it was Inter's lack of faith in his ability that caused him to seek employment elsewhere. "They no longer believed in me," he said. "In Italy with Inter, I didn't have that sensation of joy when I was playing football, I wasn't enjoying myself on the pitch. "After a year at Inter, they no longer had the confidence in my ability and they had wanted to sell me sooner."
