Cavani extends Napoli stay
Napoli have confirmed that striker Edinson Cavani has signed a new long-term contract at the club.
The Uruguayan has been linked with a number of Europe's top sides this summer and was widely expected to leave the Stadio San Paolo.
However, after failing to seal a move away, the 25-year-old has now committed his future to the Partenopei and is understandably delighted to have sorted out his future.
"Staying in Naples is not a choice of money, although it is definitely important because (playing football) is a job, but this is also a choice of the heart," he said.
"We took all of these factors, along with my family and my agents, into account, and collectively we decided to stay in this beautiful city."
