De Rossi cools City talk

Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has publicly committed his future to the club, ending rumours of a move to Manchester City.

The Premier League champions had reportedly offered 35million euros for the 29-year-old, with his agent apparently flying to England for talks.
However, any move now appears unlikely, with De Rossi calling a press conference at Roma's training ground in an attempt to quash the speculation.
"I am staying, I am happy here and I have never, ever asked to leave," he said.
"One club, the one you all know, made an enquiry. One or two others, but that was just talk.
"What I can promise everyone is that the day I do leave Roma - whether to win the Champions League or make more money - I will say so in public."
