Guarin declares his love for Inter
Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin says that joining the Serie A club was the best decision he's ever made.
Guarin arrived at the San Siro on loan part-way through the 2011/12 season, following four successful seasons with Porto.
The midfielder's spell at the Italian club is scheduled to conclude at the end of the current season, but the player is understood to be extremely keen to remain with Inter, having already achieved his ambitions in the Portuguese competition.
"Inter is a great family and I am proud to be part of it. Wearing their jersey for the first matches was very emotional for me and I am very happy here," said Guarin, who has 26 caps for Colombia to his name.
"I want to win a lot, as I have done at Porto. Nine trophies in three years was a masterpiece, but now I want to win here with Inter, and I am sure it is possible. For this reason I want to remain at the club."
It is expected, however, that Porto will demand a hefty fee from Inter, should the Italian club express an interest in making Guarin's move to Serie A permanent.
