Gullit calls for patience
AC Milan legend Ruud Gullit has urged the club's fans to remain patient following a turbulent summer at the San Siro.
The Rossoneri have lost a number of key players over the last few months, with Thiago Silva, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Clarence Seedorf all deciding to leave the club.
Boss Massimiliano Allegri has understandably found it difficult to replace such quality and Gullit has now called for patience following their disappointing start to the season.
"It's very hard to tell how far Milan can go in the Champions League. I think it is difficult to make a prediction on that because it is such a young team," Gullit told the UEFA website. "They have already lost their first league match at home, so they need time. Just give them time."
