Hamsik hails Napoli strength

Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik insists there is no reason why his side cannot challenge for the title after their 3-0 win at Palermo.

Hamsik opened the scoring at the Stadio Barbera on Sunday before goals from Christian Maggio and Edinson Cavani wrapped up a comfortable win for the Azzurri. The Slovakian was delighted with the victory and insists Napoli have no reason to fear any of their Serie A rivals in the hunt for league honours this season. "I don't want to talk about the Scudetto, but we can take on anybody and we showed that in the game against Palermo," said the midfielder. "We played a great game and all of the team should be complimented for their efforts. Now we are already thinking about the game against Fiorentina."
