AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is ready to turn down an offer to join Real Madrid this Summer, reports in Italy suggest.

The 30-year-old previously enjoyed a spell in La Liga with Barcelona before joining Milan in ahead of the 2010/11 season, and Real coach Jose Mourinho is understood to be keen on luring the Swede back to Spain. But Ibrahimovic has today been quoted as saying he is not interested in leaving the Serie A side for any club. "I'm happy at Milan. A new challenge would be great, but I've faced so many in my career and I have now learnt one thing - if you're happy at a club then you should stay," he said. A move to Real would reunite Ibrahimovic with former boss Mourinho, after the pair worked together during the player's spell with Inter Milan three years ago. But the former Malmo man is not desperate to renew acquaintances. "I want to remain here. I'm happy at Milan, I could not ask for anything more and everyone treats me in the best possible manner", he added. Imbrahimovic has scored 26 goals in 29 Serie A appearances this campaign and appears to have recaptured the form that he showed towards the end of his first spell in Italy, when he netted 25 times in one season for Inter.
